9.The influence of organizational culture on attitudes

Organizational culture, according to Gareth Morgan, is the set of beliefs, values, and conventions, as well as symbols such as dramatized events and characters, that embody an organization's particular character and provide the framework for activity within and by it.

'Beliefs and values' are terms that will appear frequently in other definitions, while 'norms' can be thought of as traditions, authority structures, or routines. In a workplace, this culture is made up of all of the life experiences that each person brings to the company.

People in companies collaborate to achieve their objectives. When goals grow more explicit, organizations tend to take on a life of their own, gaining beliefs, values, and developing practices, which can have a significant impact on the success or failure of the organization. These belief systems are sometimes referred to as organizational or corporate cultures by management.

When a group of people gets together, they form a culture that includes tacit and unwritten standards for functioning together. It's best described as "how we do things around here," and it provides the backdrop in which individuals assess the appropriateness of their actions. Many procedures exist within the business that help to maintain a culture between it and its personnel.

The culture could be reinforced by using a performance review, training, and career development method. Employees' work communication methods and philosophical viewpoints might be influenced by organizational ideals.

The'socialization' process in the workplace can assist new employees in acclimating to the company's culture. If employees do not adapt well, bosses and coworkers who are more acculturated may put more pressure on them. They may choose to stay and fight, stay and isolate themselves, or quit the organization, freely or involuntarily, in search of an other organization with a better culture.

As a result, it is undeniable that an organization's culture has an impact on human behavior and, as a result, employee performance at work.
